Normatec Compression

NormaTec Compression Therapy is a treatment modality that uses pulse massage patterns to boost recovery. The dynamic compression device uses compressed air to massage limbs, mobilize fluid, and fight inflammation. Limbs are inserted into sleeves that are inflated to compress the muscles. The compression system then pulses up the limbs, squeezing pain-causing fluid & lactic acid out of them. The limbs are then replenished with fresh blood, stimulating recovery.

PULSE

Unlike the static compression of squeezing, Sequential Pulse Technology (SPT) uses a patented pulsating motion, also known as dynamic compression. The pulsing imitates the natural muscle movement in the arms and legs, expediting the release of fluid and metabolites from the limbs after intense exercise or training.

HOLD

SPT uses gradient hold pressures to keep fluids flowing in the right direction, similar to the one-way valves in veins and lymphatic vessels to prevent fluid backflow. The gradient technology delivers optimal pressure in every zone for maximum recovery results.

RELEASE

Extended static pressure can disrupt the body’s normal circulation system, but with SPT, the hold pressures are gradually released in each zone, preventing fluid backflow. This process ensures each zone of the limb gets maximum rest time between compression cycles.
